More Art in The Park The BRIGHTON ARTS COUNCIL is exhibiting works by local artists throughout the original lighthouse keeper's cottage at the Lighthouse Interpretive Centre which is located within the shadow of historic Presqu'ile Lighthouse. The Arts display is a sundry collection of oil, watercolours, acrylics, photography, giclees and 3D art representing themes of nature and associated subject matter about the area. Starting the season, the featured artists this year are Henry Mitchell, Roni Glenn, Lisa Farrell, Norm Ray, Tina Osborne, Yvonne Sheppard, Naomi Smith, Danielle leCorvez Pearson, Anita Gutteridge, and Lisa Farrell. A portion of the sale of art is directed to the FRIENDS OF PRESQU'ILE in support of their ongoing achievements with educational interpretive programs. The Lighthouse Interpretive Centre is open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm every day between Canada Day weekend and Labour Day weekend and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekends in spring and fall. Entrance fee to Presqu'ile Provincial Park applies.
