For all your unique and delightful Christmas gifts this year, visit the region’s own ‘Santa’s Workshop’— the Christmas at Presqu’ile Arts & Craft Show!
Opening November 4, 2017 and again on November 5, 8, 11 and 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., this show is a must attend!
This is the place to find unique and wonderful Christmas gifts…. You have so much to choose from and all in one place! Make your choices from the many and varied pottery offerings, jewelry, Christmas crafts, paintings, knitted goods, baby gifts, baked goods, maple syrup products, stained glass, wood carvings, wall hangings, wreaths and housewares!
The Show takes place at Presqu’ile Provincial Park, Brighton, Ontario. You’ll enjoy free admission to the Park, the Show and parking.
All goods will be displayed at Christmas House, a 10-room Heritage Home by the Lake. After shopping, you can walk next door to Stonehedge—a Heritage Mansion—sit in the Tea Room and enjoy the now famous Rum Cake while overlooking Lake Ontario and talking about all the wonderful items you purchased! And just down the road is a third exciting building—the Park’s Lighthouse Interpretive Centre located right next to the Presqu’ile Lighthouse.
The Lighthouse Interpretive Centre, adjacent to the Presqu'ile Lighthouse, is transformed during the Show into an Art Gallery featuring the work of two well-known professional artists. Doug Comeau's work is unbelievable! The realistic quality this self-taught artist achieves, in the medium of graphite, charcoal and coloured pencil, brings his subjects to life! Linda Barber works in acrylics with as brush or palette knife to bring her talent to the fore in waterscapes, birches, landscapes and fields and meadows. Her command of colour is amazing! The art sale and the Friends of Presqu’ile Gift Shop will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. during the Show.
Christmas at Presqu'ile Arts and Crafts Show 2017 is presented by The Friends of Presqu'ile Provincial Park—a volunteer run charitable organization. All proceeds from the Show and Raffle are invested in The Friends’ interpretive and educational programs in Presqu’ile Provincial Park.
