Self-Use Facilities

The Park has two self-guided Interpretive Trails (Jobes' Woods and Owen Point) that have brochures to guide visitors to features found along their routes.  For more information on our trail system, and to download trail maps and interpretive brochures, go to our Trails Section here.

In 2004 the Town of Brighton and Presqu'ile Park partnered in marking the 200 year anniversary of the sinking of the schooner Speedy.  A number of historical plaques were placed throughout the park and town to celebrate the area's settlement history.  Copies of these plaques are available for download on our history page here.  Better yet, visit them all in person and see how history ties in with the landscape, both past and present.

Presqu'ile has been designated an Important Bird Area (IBA) and a static sign display has been established at Calf Pasture Cove at the end of Atkin's Lane.
