At the recent Friends' AGM, a new slate of directors was elected. Along with the five returning directors, two new directors: Christy Trescher and Catherine Lariviere. Also, Brent Barnes, who had been appointed to the board earlier in the year, was formally elected. We gave our thanks to two retiring directors, Linda Alkenbrack and Wayne Meyers.

At a subsequent meeting, directors were appointed to their roles for the year:

• Brent Barnes - Director, Operations
• Michelle Buchkowsky - Director, Volunteers
• Catherine Lariviere  - Corporate Secretary
• Phil McRae - Director, Ecology
• Dan Riggs -  Director, Grants
• Christy Trescher - Director at Large
