The Park Improvements Team has been very busy this season. Earlier this spring, they made improvements to the trail in the wooded area of the Marsh Boardwalk. In June, they tackled demolition of the walls in the unused garage at the Nature Centre in preparation for the building of the new Learning Centre.

Volunteers have been hard at work this month spreading wood chips on almost 100 meters of the most vulnerable spots on Owen Point Trail. Our trail maintenance team works throughout the spring, summer and fall to ensure the network of trails are safe and accessible for all to enjoy.
