Day Use

The information below is provided as a service to park visitors, and is collected from the Ontario Parks website and blog. Park use policies and fees are not the responsibility of the Friends of Presqu'ile Park.

Visitors planning a trip to Presqu'ile are encouraged to read How to Plan your Trip to Presqu'ile on the Ontario Parks blog.  The Ontario Parks website also explains day use policies.

According to Ontario Parks rules, motor vehicles entering the park always require a valid permit ("park pass") to be prominently displayed on their dash - either a Daily Vehicle Permit or a Seasonal Permit - 365 days a year.  Failure to have or failure to display a permit may result in a fine.

Permits can be purchased online year round or in person at the Main Gate or the Park Office, depending on the season.

Permits are not required for anyone entering the park on foot or by bicycle.

For more details and current pricing, please call Presqu'ile Provincial Park directly at 613-475-4324 or stop at the Main Gate or Main Office (to the right of the Main Gate), or by direct messaging through social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).

Advance Daily Vehicle Permit Reservations

In June 2021, Ontario Parks instituted a Daily Permit Reservation pilot program in 17 parks including Presqu'ile.  In order to guarantee entry to Presqu'ile on a specific day, you must make a reservation, even if you have a seasonal permit.  If and when the park reaches its maximum number of daily visitors, those without a reservation will be turned away.
