Remembering Speedy School Group Interpreter
16 week contract with the possibility of extension (Sept 7 – December 17, 2004)
36 ¼ hours per week
Rate of Pay- $15.00 /hr

LOCATION: Presqu'ile Provincial Park, Brighton

Qualifications

  • Experience developing and leading school group programs. Ability to produce curriculum based lesson plans, children's pages, worksheets and handouts.
  • Knowledge of Ontario’s early settlement history, specifically in the Southeast region and Presqu'ile Provincial Park area.
  • Good group leadership, organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of the Ministry of Education Curriculum
  • Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers including word-processing, internet and electronic mail software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and at times as part of an integrated team
  • Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Valid drivers licence
