One more day of programs courtesy the Friends of Presqu’ile Park who have extended our Naturalist position.
Despite a droughty summer the conditions this growing season (lots of spring rain and summer heat) have produced an excellent growing season for our wildflowers. The panne flowers are the best they have been in years. This Saturday you have a unique opportunity to experience this beauty with a naturalist guide. Kristen will be leading a walk starting at 10am from the Owen Pt Parking Lot.
And if you have not had enough of monarchs (and who has?) she will be at the Lighthouse Centre from 2pm to 4pm showcasing the Monarch and tagging a few as well.
Enjoy the day
